thank you for sharing this poignant conversation. It is really making me think about my own two hospital births and how I might change my own narrative in the future. It's refreshing to read your perspectives on systems and how they influence our thinking as mothers, and it feels validating honestly. Most of the time, when I share similar sentiments, I'm billed as a loonie but I realize now that it's only because of how deeply ingrained our health systems are and how we as women and as individuals can make choices that are more supportive of our goals.
